The hotel on paper is impressive, but in reality it leaves quite a lot to be desired. My room had not been cleaned properly when I checked in, I had to insist upon it being cleaned properly. The room was very tired in places, in the bathroom the bath tub did not drain properly and the shower housing was brown in places with old dirt, The shower gel and shampoo were almost empty. The room carpet was heavily stained. Also there wasn't any complementary water or even a kettle, only a non complimentary minibar. The basic room rate was close to 150€. I had reserved half board and was disappointed by the quality of the food on offer. The congealed "Maggi" type sauces combined with some undercooked meats left my appetite seriously wanting. To say this is a 4*+, I was shocked at the low quality food offerings. I have had better motorway service station food. This hotel is in need of improvement in every capacity. The receptionists were helpful and apologetic, and the waiting staff attentive, but the buck should not rest with them but the management and the owner. Not recommended!

Excellent hotel. We stayed one weekend in triple room. Room was very clean, tidy and spacious. No matter that the hotel is close to the railway, the passing trains noise was well attenuated. Bathroom in the room was new and without any remarks. Excellent SPA with various choice for saunas and big rest area. Pool with proper dimensions, temperature of the water very good for children - not too warm and not cold. Probably the best in the hotel is the restaurant, offering tasty gourmet food with good variety. Last but not least, I would like to mention the service - really friendly and helpful. Surrounding area around the hotel is picturesque and the town of Puchberg am Schneeberg is really worth visiting. Definitely we will come back. I can only recommend.

I rented a good mountain bike here for £16 for whole day, there is also £10 for 3 hours. It is great location and very convenient. Staff was so friendly and nice. If someone is in Puchberg am Schneeberg and want to rent a bike. Check there. :)

We've booked a short stay and used the pool as well as sauna/spa. The service personal is very welcoming and the food is pretty good, except for the afternoon lunch. The lake nearby is quite nice and worth a visit.

Very nice rooms in the "old building", well renovated, this part is up to 4S standard. Food is not up to 4S, we would give it 3. Overall this hotel is good for short stays and seminars.

Great hotel to start a trip towards Schneeberg. Friendly people, good food, good wellness, gym and massage therapist. Rooms were clean and roomy. If I ever travel near Puchberg, I know where to stay.

Stayed here recently on business. Stunning location in the shadow of Schneeberg. Great friendly service from the staff. Rooms were clean and well presented. Conference facilities were good with ample space for ~25 delegates.

We came for dinner and we're sadly underwhelmed. After being ignored at our table for 20 minutes the staff had limited desire to serve us. They did not bring us a place setting/silverware for our daughter. Nor did they bring napkins/serviettes. The staffs indifference was evident with ever interaction. This was not what we were expecting from a 4 star hotel.
